Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market Wins with the Participation of Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh region, the seventh edition of the Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market kicks off on March 30th 2014. It is one of the most important projects approved by the National Tourism Strategy and implemented by the Saudi Commission for tourism & Antiquities in cooperation with Heights Agency. A number of public and private authorities in the Kingdom will participate in the event, which lasts until April 4, 2014 AD, in Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Forum has considerable attention this year with the participation of 300 specialized tourism, entertainment, and aviation companies and 14 tourism destination. It is expected to receive extraordinary attendance, especially after developing the process of its preparation, organization and program components. Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski- one of the most luxurious international hotels- is among the prominent participants this year.

Waleed Haider, Marketing and Sales Director at the hotel, gave special interest to the hotel’s participation in the Forum to support the domestic tourism in the Kingdom in cooperation with SCTA.  He stated that the participation will help to introduce the first Kempinski Hotel in the Kingdom. The Kempinski Hotels Group is a global leader in the operation and management of hotels since 1897 and known by the Saudi community and market through its hotels in the world and specifically in the Gulf States.

He added: "The hotel features 349 luxurious rooms and suites spread over 23 floors where guests can enjoy wonderful views of the city in Burj Rafal quarter. The hotel’s exterior architectural design mimics the modern Najdi styles, while the interior design is implemented by one of the finest design and architecture offices in the world which is the winner of numerous international awards. The hotel also encompasses a grand luxurious conference and celebrations hall, accommodating up to 1700 guests, in addition to 19 meeting rooms and a business center equipped with the latest technology. The hotel will present all these features in the event in addition to all the other advanced facilities, such as the distinctive dining experience in the hotel’s two restaurants and cafes in addition to the three spa and health centers for men and women offering the best in relaxation and beauty services. A number of packages and facilities will be provided to attract more guests and partners at the show.
Going back to the Forum Travel and Tourism Investment Saudi it includes in addition to the exhibition, an integrated program of sessions that discuss the problems and constraints of the sector on the one hand and development and its role in economic growth on the other hand also offers a program scientifically wide includes more than 35 effectiveness of workshops and training courses, lectures, offered by 80 experts and specialists locally and internationally to discuss the merits of the tourism sector, and its reality in the world, the region and the Kingdom in particular.

STTIM-2014 involves, besides the exhibition, an integrated program of sessions to discuss the sector’s issues and obstacles in one side and its development and economic role in the other side. It is also scheduled to feature an extensive scientific program of over 35 events, workshops, training courses and lectures in which about 80 national and international experts and specialists will discuss significant topics related to tourism industry in the world in general and the Kingdom in particular.
